Full-time Senior Executive/Executive, Legal

The Legal Executive is responsible to assist the Head of Legal in all legal matters pertaining to corporate and commercial work. The jobs include but not limited to the following;
  • To manage litigation matters & debt recovery which include liaising with solicitors, internal clients.
  • To attend the internal and external meetings, negotiations, to conduct legal research, etc.
  • To interpret of existing contractual agreements and standard terms and conditions
  • To manage real estate matters which include reviewing S&P and to ensure consideration received for disposing of property within the time agreed.
  • To manage contract; to vet, draft, review and provide opinions on the internal agreement and external agreements as and when time instructed.
  • To manage Intellectual Property matters-ensure trademark filed and renewed in due course.
  • To provide the first level response to requests for information on existing contracts and advice, from other business units.
  • To ensure all legal advice are provided in a cost-effective manner which includes managing the outsourcing of that work.
  • To assist in resolving legal dispute and advice on a wide range of legal issues for the relevant business area.
  • To develop good working relationship across the business units and take a proactive approach to supporting the management of legal risk with those units.
  • To support the Head of Department to achieve the departmental objectives.
  • Professional Degree in Laws and/or experience in legal practise.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field
  • Possess work experience in a corporate and commercial field is an added advantage and practical approach to litigation
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, multi-tasking and able to meet deadlines.
  • Pleasant personality and able to communicate with all level
  • Understand business operation and strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Good analytical skills, meticulous, good business acumen & resourceful
  • Hard working, open to learn new knowledge and receptive.
Candidate must be willing to work at our Head Office. 2 (two) positions are available
